 As the new year approaches, please consider this New Year's Resolution: Be a Pond Hero and renew and/or become a 2018 contributing member to the Brewster Ponds Coalition, winner of the Brewster Conservation Trust's 2017 Conservationist of the Year award. Already more than 170 individuals and families have renewed or become new members and pushed the Annual Appeal thermometer to 77% of the 25,000 goal. Thanks to the generosity of more than 130 members, just over $15,000 has been raised to date in the 2017-8 Annual Appeal. That's terrific progress for which we are all grateful. It's exciting to get this far, but we still have $10,000—or 40% of our goal to raise before January 31, 2018.
